Research Assistant - Hardware Engineer

 

Job Responsibilities

 

1.                      Participate in research on topics and projects of diverse hardware system designs.

2.                      Be responsible for the electronic circuit design and prototype development of relevant hardware systems, involving microcontroller programming and signal modulation techniques.

3.                      Assist in the management and use of relevant hardware devices in the laboratory and maintain the daily operation of the laboratory.

 

Qualification Requirements:

 

1.                      Bachelor's degree or above in electrical engineering, automation, mechanical engineering or related majors.

2.                      Have relevant work or scientific research experience in hardware development, circuit design and debugging.

3.                      Solid basic knowledge of electrical engineering, proficient in electronic hardware design, and understand non - standard electronic structure design skills.

4.                      Be familiar with EDA and CAD tools.

5.                      Good communication skills and a sense of teamwork, strong learning motivation and problem - solving ability.

 

Plus Items:

 

1.                      Have experience in deploying machine learning models to hardware platforms, and understand model compression, quantization and optimization techniques.

2.                      Be familiar with embedded systems and edge computing, and be able to design and implement machine learning solutions running on resource - constrained hardware.

3.                      Have a certain understanding of hardware accelerators (such as GPU, FPGA, ASIC, etc.), and have experience in using them for machine learning inference.
